more than just jewelry

we're a whole vibe

Our mission is to help you look good, feel good, and do good through jewelry that is unapologetic, expressive, and amusing. We make quality designs that focus on everyday wearability with an edge, so you can share your vibes quietly.

Always cute

Inclusivity

Community

Since 2010, our woman-run business has been designing and making jewelry with one guiding principle:

Give a shit.

About people, about the world we live in, and about whatever gets you out of bed in the morning. We choose strategic partners that also live by these principles to help us present high quality shit at a decent price.

Inclusivity

All are truly welcome at LL, and we are committed to making choices in our jewelry designs that accommodate our diverse customer base. We offer a wide range of sizes for our rings, extenders for necklaces, custom fit permanent jewelry, and gender-neutral designs. Digitally, our emails use as much live text as possible to help screen reader accuracy. We’re always looking for ways to improve our offerings and expand our definition of inclusivity. If there is something you would love to see from us, please reach out!

All the Swears

You may have noticed that we really like to swear. It isn’t just because we think it’s fun (even though it totally is) – it’s because we have every right to swear as independent women, and we’re taking it back. If you’ve ever been told that it isn’t ladylike to swear, or that by swearing you’re “degrading” yourself, you know exactly what we’re talking about. And frankly? Fuck that.

Community

Community is at the heart of LL, and it’s the reason our company even exists. We’re a small operation with less than 20 people on our team that has somehow defied the odds, and we’ve set up our business to put you at the center, offering free shipping and returns, free jewelry repairs for the first year with a receipt, and community events both at LL HQ and out and about, all across the country. With every choice we make, at every level of our business, we’re attempting to put our customers and the LL team first (without putting ourselves out of business). We’re thankful for your support every step of the way.

Giving Back

We don’t just wait for something to happen to give back to organizations and causes we care about, we make it happen all year long. We’ve donated over $100,000 to organizations we feel can make a difference in our world, including $32,000 in 2023. We've donated to Common Cause, Doctors Without Borders, International Rescue Committee, Jed Foundation, Jeremiah Program, Loveland Foundation, National Alliance on Mental Illness, NOW Foundation, Planned Parenthood North Central States, Pregnancy & Postpartum Support MN, Project Success, Protect Our Winters, Reclaim, Ronald McDonald House, Venture North, WithAll, WoMN ACT, and Young Survival Coalition.

GET TO KNOW THE FOUNDER

Larissa Loden

I started Larissa Loden in 2010 to make jewelry for badasses, by badasses. Seriously, our small team of super hardworking people is fucking incredible and the reason why it’s possible to make so much cute shit for you.

Do thoughts of destroying the planet, social justice, and balancing work and responsibilities with actually living your life keep you up at night? Are you tough on the outside but secretly care so much it hurts your squishy little heart? You’re one of us. We think you’re fucking cool and are so glad you found our corner of the internet.

I’m a woman, mother, and artist who finds inspiration everywhere. It all started as a middle school art teacher’s side hustle, and has morphed into a dream-come-true small business.

Being an entrepreneur is truly a wild ride. So much so that my friend and I started a podcast about it. We share stories about the highest highs and lowest lows of running a business and maintaining our mental health in the process. We also interview other entrepreneurs about their crazy experiences starting or running small businesses. Come find me there every week; I promise it won’t disappoint.
